Google quietly added a publisher-facing toggle inside AdSense that controls whether the platform’s advisory team can reach out with account-specific recommendations. The control lives inside the Personalization tab under Settings, in a new Personalized Advice section.
Publishers choose to receive outreach or decline it entirely. Those who opt in can further select a channel: phone calls, text messages, or WhatsApp messages.
Google describes the outreach as growth guidance offered by AdSense advisors, though the announcement gives no detail on what triggers an outreach attempt or how often it happens.
Bruno Ramos Lara first flagged the setting after receiving an email notification and posting about it on X. Search Engine Roundtable covered the discovery on July 7, noting the setting had not been widely announced elsewhere.
Publishers who have grown wary of unsolicited AdSense calls now have a documented way to shut that channel off without missing legitimate account alerts. Anyone managing multiple properties should check the setting directly, since the default state was not specified.
Search Engine Roundtable, citing Bruno Ramos Lara’s discovery on X, reported the new AdSense Personalized Advice setting on July 7, 2026.
