Google Ads advertisers can see sample AI Max copy for a Search campaign before they switch on text customization, according to Search Engine Land. After a final URL is entered, Google’s AI reads the landing page and produces up to 10 sample headlines and descriptions in about 30 seconds. Opting in is not required to see them.
The previews sit in the Asset optimization section, both during campaign creation and when editing an existing campaign. Google says the preview covers the languages text customization already supports and most business categories. Adult content is excluded.
The samples are illustrations. Google does not promise that any of them will be the text that actually serves. A preview shows the tone and emphasis the system would draw from a page, but it cannot show live output. Search Engine Land notes that advertisers should keep reviewing generated assets after they enable the feature.
Teams weighing AI Max should run the preview on their key landing pages first, and treat weak samples as a prompt to fix the page copy before opting in.
