Google Ads has added a “Promotions offers” section inside its Promotions area, Search Engine Roundtable reported. Entries can be sorted into offered, expired, or invalidated.
Thomas Eccel spotted the section and flagged it on LinkedIn. His interpretation is that Google could push promotional offers to individual accounts, visible only in that spot. That is his reading, not a Google statement. The Search Engine Roundtable report includes no comment from Google, no description of how offers would be chosen, and no detail on what an offer would contain.
The status labels hint that an offer can lapse or be voided, which would mean a deadline attached to any credit or deal. The report does not confirm that either.
Advertisers should open Promotions in each managed account this week, check whether anything sits under “offered,” and note expiry dates before an offer drops into the expired bucket.
