Google Ads has added a new support page for its multi-source conversions beta, expanding on documentation it published after renaming the feature last month, according to Search Engine Roundtable. The page, titled “Multi-source conversions in Google Ads (beta),” walks advertisers through attaching a CRM or order-database feed to an existing website conversion action, submitted through Data Manager or its API, to supplement what the Google tag captures alone.
Google positions the feature as a way to recover conversions missed because of browser restrictions and ad blockers, since backend records can fill gaps the tag cannot see. The documentation also covers real-time value corrections: advertisers can override the tag-recorded conversion value with adjusted order figures such as upsells, price restatements, or a finalized cart total pulled from CRM data, and can supplement tag data with identifiers like email or phone number.
Google published companion pages on diagnostic alerts, FAQs, and supported data sources alongside the update, but the feature stays confined to beta documentation rather than a general rollout. Advertisers who depend on backend conversion data should confirm their CRM export matches Data Manager’s supported source list now, so the integration is ready if Google widens the beta.
Search Engine Roundtable, in a report by Barry Schwartz published September 16, 2026, first detailed the new Google Ads help documentation.
