Google confirmed that Ask Advisor, the AI assistant built into Google Ads, Google Analytics, and Google Merchant Center, will soon carry conversation history between those products. The company gave no rollout date.

Google Ads posted the update on X on August 24, describing shared memory that carries “goals, past decisions, and performance data from one platform to the next.” A question answered in Ads would inform the advisor’s response later in Analytics or Merchant Center, rather than each tool starting from zero.

Google labeled the change “coming soon,” the same phrasing it used when it first introduced Ask Advisor, according to Search Engine Roundtable founder Barry Schwartz, who spotted the post via PPC News Feed. Google did not say which tools get the update first or whether memory persists across accounts and users.

Marketers running campaigns across multiple Google products should treat cross-tool memory as a planning input, not a working feature, until Google confirms a launch window.

Search Engine Roundtable’s Barry Schwartz reported on Google’s shared-memory update for Ask Advisor on August 25, 2026.
