Google has widened Local Services Ads booking support to more than 500 Reserve with Google partners, up from about 20, according to Google Ads Liaison Ginny Marvin. The feature now switches on automatically for any advertiser whose Google Business Profile already carries an active partner booking link, with no manual setup required. Eligible searchers can move from an ad on Search or Maps straight into scheduling an appointment.

That automation cuts both ways for advertisers. Bookings completed this way register as paid leads inside Local Services Ads reporting, so a business can begin paying for a lead type it never deliberately opted into. Advertisers retain the ability to disable individual partner links under Profile & Budget > Settings, and Marvin said those preferences will carry over as Google shifts Local Services Ads accounts into Google Ads over the coming months.

Teams managing Local Services Ads budgets should check booking settings now, before the wider partner rollout raises paid-lead volume without warning.
