Google has announced that its Collected info feature, tested for several months, is now officially live inside the Business Profile dashboard, the company said on X.
The tab surfaces details Google’s automated assistant verified through phone or chat outreach to a listing’s verified number, alongside the source and date each detail was gathered. Owners can delete any entry they judge inaccurate; Google’s help documentation notes that deletion removes the record from its systems without altering other fields already live on the profile.
It follows this publication’s September 9 report that Google had begun emailing profile owners to confirm crowdsourced edits, part of a broader push to let businesses audit what its systems collect and change on their behalf. Access is currently limited by region, language, and business category, so most owners will not see the tab yet.
For any business fielding Google’s automated verification calls or texts, checking the Collected info tab before those changes propagate further is now the fastest way to catch and correct a wrong phone number, hour, or service listing.
Search Engine Land’s Barry Schwartz reported the rollout on September 14, 2026.
