Google redesigned the home page for Reader Revenue Manager, its tool for adding subscription or contribution models to publisher sites, and the new copy widens where subscriber content can be flagged. Barry Schwartz of Search Engine Roundtable reported the changes on Oct. 9.

The earlier page said subscribers and contributors could see content in a “From Your Subscriptions” panel across Search, Discover and News products. The revised text says a “From your subscriptions” distinction can appear in Gemini, AI Overviews, AI Mode and Search. Schwartz called that probably the most important substantive change.

The page also adds an Advanced features section that the old version lacked. Listed items include Bundles, Registration Wall, Rewarded Ads, 5-Step Pricing, Metered Read, Subscription Linking and CTA customization. Schwartz also noted a new matrix and rearranged content.

Publishers using the tool should check whether their subscriber content is labeled across those four surfaces, since Google’s wording names the generative ones explicitly.
