Jetpack released version 16.3 with three new blocks, Search Engine Journal reported on Oct. 9. Author Roger Montti called the update a winner, a verdict that is his opinion rather than a measured result.
The Latest Videos Playlist block fills a playlist with a site’s newest VideoPress videos automatically. The All Playlists block shows every VideoPress playlist in one spot. The Zoom Scheduler block lets visitors book Zoom meetings from a post or page.
VideoPress also gets playlist customization, new management and sharing controls, and changes to how the player loads. For Jetpack AI, MCP setup guidance covers more apps, including Codex, ChatGPT, Cursor, VS Code and Claude.
The Daily Writing Prompt widget adds a Freshly Pressed tab of posts curated by WordPress.com editors. Other changes in the source include conditional logic in Forms, a Features tab replacing Products, and Stats settings inside the Stats dashboard.
Teams running Jetpack should read the changelog before updating, since the release also lists security fixes.
