Microsoft Advertising rolled out a bulk tool for challenging disapproved ad assets, ending the need to appeal each rejection one at a time. Product Liaison Navah Hopkins announced the feature, which now works across every account for both text and image creative.
The mechanics carry real limits. Microsoft still reviews each asset on its own, so an advertiser appealing one disapproved ad must resubmit every flagged asset inside that ad together. Approved assets in the same ad keep serving through the review as long as its landing page stays in good standing.
Image assets cannot simply be edited in place. Advertisers have to upload a fresh creative to replace a rejected image, and in some cases Microsoft steers advertisers toward a policy exception request rather than a swap. Accounts can file as many as 5,000 of those exception requests.
For agencies running large asset libraries, the update clears out one of the more tedious manual steps in campaign upkeep. Teams managing hundreds of disapproved assets across accounts can now clear a policy backlog in one pass instead of working through a queue asset by asset.
Search Engine Land’s Anu Adegbola reported the launch on August 7, 2026.
