Google Search Console’s performance report now lets you select several countries in the country filter and view them as one combined group. Until now, the filter showed a single country at a time. Google announced the change in a LinkedIn post on October 6.

Google framed the update as a way to analyze traffic patterns across countries and devices more easily. The company said that “if you operate in multiple countries,” you can now see their combined Google Search traffic. Search Engine Roundtable’s Barry Schwartz gave an example: select both the United States and Canada, then click update.

Schwartz called the addition a neat one. He also said that what the industry really wants is click data in the AI performance reports. That is his opinion, and Google has not said such data is planned.

Agencies and in-house teams that report on regional clusters can drop the manual summing of per-country exports. Rebuild any recurring multi-country dashboards around the filter and check that totals match your old method.
