Bing is testing pricing text overlaid directly on product images in its organic search results, according to a screenshot posted by Sachin Patel on X and reported by Barry Schwartz for Search Engine Roundtable on Wednesday, July 29, 2026. The image slot normally carries review stars, with price appearing separately below the thumbnail. Schwartz also spotted a second variant showing two stacked rows of product images beneath a single result snippet, which he called new for Bing.
The evidence is thin: one screenshot, no Microsoft confirmation, and no sign of a broader rollout. Bing runs a high volume of interface tests that never ship widely, and this could easily be one of them.
The design logic still matters, regardless of test size. Displaying price on the thumbnail collapses a choice shoppers once needed a click for onto the results page, the same attention shift behind most SERP feature redesigns. For retailers, the accuracy of a product feed’s pricing data no longer matters only for Shopping campaigns. It now shapes how a listing renders in organic results too.
