Google Ads updated its asset-group help documentation to describe a pre-fill workflow tied to Asset Studio, the platform’s generated-asset workspace. Advertisers who build creative there can now carry that work directly into a Performance Max campaign instead of re-uploading it.

The update covers two mechanisms. An in-construction callout surfaces during asset group setup when a recent Asset Studio project exists, letting an advertiser apply it in one click. A separate automatic pre-fill path fills headlines, long headlines, descriptions, images, and videos when a campaign is started from inside the Asset Studio workspace itself.

Google frames the feature around Ad Strength, saying the imported projects can help a campaign reach an “Excellent” rating, the platform’s top creative-quality score.

The documentation only describes the mechanics; it gives no rollout timeline or availability scope. Teams already using Asset Studio should treat this as a reason to consolidate creative production there, since campaign setup now rewards work done in that workspace over assets uploaded ad hoc.

Search Engine Roundtable’s Barry Schwartz reported the documentation update.
