Google Ads has begun collapsing sitelinks inside the campaign interface, showing advertisers a count indicator instead of the full list by default. A click expands the row to reveal every active sitelink.

The change affects how sitelinks display in account management screens, not how they appear to searchers on the results page. For accounts running dozens of campaigns with layered sitelink sets, the collapsed view compresses what used to be a long scroll into a single line per ad group.

That compression cuts both ways for search teams. A tighter interface speeds up routine review, but it also makes stale or duplicate sitelinks easier to miss during an audit, since nothing signals which entries need attention until the row is opened. Teams that run scheduled sitelink audits should factor the extra click into their workflow rather than assume the collapsed count reflects current quality.

Google has not detailed a rollout timeline or said whether the change is a test or a permanent update.
