Microsoft has begun surfacing a preview overlay inside the Microsoft Advertising console that introduces reworked navigation and updated data tables. Advertisers who log in may now see the notice describing the change before opting in.
The overlay text says the update is meant to improve clarity and consistency and make table data easier to scan, according to wording Microsoft displays directly to users. Microsoft frames the release as a preview, not a final design, and says the layout could still change based on feedback.
Users can switch back to the classic console at any time during this phase, a rollback option Microsoft has offered with prior interface changes to reduce workflow disruption. PPC News Feed’s Hana Kobzová first posted a screenshot of the overlay, describing the updated tables as easier to work with for data interaction.
The change touches interface mechanics only. It does not alter bidding, targeting, or ranking logic within campaigns, so account performance should be unaffected regardless of which layout an advertiser uses.
Agencies managing multiple advertiser logins should expect uneven rollout timing, since preview features like this typically reach accounts in stages rather than all at once.
Search Engine Land, via Barry Schwartz, reported the interface preview on August 31, 2026.
