Google Ads advertisers can add three AI Max-related columns to their reporting views as a rollout continues, Search Engine Land reported on Oct. 7. Vivek Gupta first spotted the change and shared it on LinkedIn.

The columns are Locations of interest, Optimized targeting, and Brand inclusions. Each flags where its setting is in play across Search campaigns. Optimized targeting points to where Google’s automated audience expansion is active.

These are reporting additions only. Search Engine Land notes they leave AI Max behavior unchanged, so no campaign serves differently because of them.

Because the rollout is unfinished, some accounts will not see the columns yet. Check the column picker before concluding a setting is absent, since a missing column proves nothing about the campaign.

For agencies managing many accounts, the columns offer a faster way to list which campaigns carry automated expansion and brand settings than opening each one. Add them as they appear and audit before your next client review.
