Vehicle manufacturers have a new way to put their model lineups in front of Search shoppers. Search Engine Land reports that Google Ads is offering automotive model feeds, the product formerly named Vehicle Top Ads, as a beta.

Eligibility is narrow. Only qualifying original equipment manufacturers can join, and the report names the US, Canada, Australia, and the UK among supported markets. Dealerships and other automotive businesses are outside that group.

The mechanics lean on automation. Google pairs entries in the manufacturer’s feed with matching queries and existing text ads, so vehicle details can appear without anyone building an ad for each model. Adegbola suggests that visuals and product details may help buyers compare models earlier in their search.

Accuracy becomes the manufacturer’s job, since the ads reflect whatever the feed says. Manufacturers wanting out can delete the feed under Business Data in their Google Ads account.

OEM teams in the supported markets should weigh feed quality against the beta’s limits before applying.
