OpenAI is reaching out to advertisers with human account managers for ChatGPT Ads, based on an email Anthony Higman posted on X. Search Engine Roundtable’s Barry Schwartz reported on it.

The message carried the subject line “Introducing your ChatGPT Ads Account Manager.” A representative named Warren Smith invites the advertiser to send questions or current challenges, then proposes an introduction meeting to discuss business goals. The email also suggests a recurring biweekly check-in covering campaign performance, insights, and optimization opportunities.

Higman joked on X that his days could fill up with endless phone calls to representatives at Google, Meta, and now ChatGPT Ads. Another user, Len, replied, “AI for support but humans for sales.”

That reaction frames OpenAI as joining the ad platforms that pair self-serve tools with rep-led relationships. For agencies, the practical question is who will own the biweekly cadence and what performance data to bring, since the email promises a review of results.
