Advertisers running AI Max for Search campaigns may soon get a clearer view of what Google’s automation pairs together. Search Engine Land reported on October 13 that a report called “Search terms and ad combinations” has turned up in at least one account. Natasha Kaurra, a Google Ads specialist, spotted it and posted about it on LinkedIn.

The report ties each search query to the ad creative and landing page shown with it. Search Engine Land said this matters because AI Max has offered limited insight into how queries get matched to messaging. A mismatch, such as a basic car wash search receiving an ad for a $699 ceramic coating package, would be easier to catch.

Google has not confirmed broader availability or timing, so treat this as an early sighting, not a launch. Accounts that do see the report should check high-spend queries against their headlines and landing pages, then judge any fixes on conversion and lead quality rather than clicks alone.
