Retailers chasing Google’s fast shipping label now have a published benchmark for each market. Search Engine Roundtable reported Oct. 21 that Google added a country-by-country list of delivery days to its Merchant Center help page on the feature, which was not a new document.
The figures are Japan and New Zealand at one day, India at two, Australia, Canada, the United Kingdom, and the United States at three, and Brazil at four. Search Engine Roundtable credited Hana Kobzova with spotting the change, writing on PPC News Feed.
Before this addition, merchants had to guess where the cutoff sat. A single number per country turns eligibility into an operations question: can your carriers and warehouses hit that window for the products you want flagged?
Merchants selling into several of these countries should compare their current delivery times against the table and identify which feeds fall short.
